(CBS 58) – Despite an eviction moratorium extension, millions of Americans remain at risk of losing their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
The public health foundation wants to see federal policy recommendations that would improve house affordability and stability for all Americans.
According to Eviction Lab, in Milwaukee, landlords have filed for 6,644 evictions during the pandemic.
CBS 58 spoke with Robert Wood Johnson Foundation senior policy officer Dr. Giridhar Mallya about the concerns.
