MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Imagine you've just had a successful job interview. What is the first thing that you do?

Shoplifting from the place where you just got hired probably doesn't come to mind - but that's what police in Menomonee Falls say happened at a Woodman's Market.

Surveillance video of the November 8 incident pretty much tells the whole story, but it doesn't really explain the thought process for the two 20-year-old men who are seen swiping a few bottles of liquor immediately after meeting their future boss.

According to the police report, the two men came in and filled out applications: "The interviews went well and they were both offered a third shift stocking position with the store."

But as surveillance video shows, the suspects would head to the liquor department immediately after. One of them would shove - not one -but two bottles down his pants. The other would hold a bottle in his jacket before walking out.

Here is the itemized list provided by loss prevention: one bottle of Jim Beam whiskey, another bottle - apple flavored, and a handle of Smirnoff vodka.

The suspects would later be identified by the valid information they put on their applications.

The suspects were both mailed their citations. Neither had previous records, according to a police report.

CBS 58 News reached out to Woodman's Market to find out about the employment status of the two men. They have not yet responded. Police say they believe the pair lost the jobs before they ever started.
