Pet Expo MKE returns to state fairgrounds this Saturday with hundreds of vendors and entertainment for the whole family
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There are hundreds of vendors and dozens of organizations that will be on display at Pet Expo MKE. It returns this Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Wisconsin State Fair Grounds. From chicken chats to goat meet and greets with Lovie Dovie, there's something for all types of animal lovers.
This year, you can expect to see more feline friends than years past with an expanded Cat Alley.
"We have heard the people say they want cats. We have expanded the cat area. The cat bus is coming in," said Cindy Steinle, the manager of the Reptile Interaction Area.
You'll find everything from snakes, alligators and turtles, to cats and dogs. There is also a large interactive space for kids and a lot of entertainment from the Dachshund Dash to wrestling.
"We'll have the Mondo Lucha Wrestlers over in the kid's area, and there will be a little Pokémon guy, too, moving around that the kids can catch throughout the day," said Steinle.
For the 21st year, the focus is on fostering animals. You will find resources for fostering, adopting and much more.
Personal pets aren't allowed at the expo.Children under 12 and veterans are free.
