Packers Host Youth Camp in West Allis

A youth football outreach camp hosted by the Green Bay Packers took place at Walker Elementary School in West Allis on Thursday.

It’s a day of obstacle courses and football drills for kids.

It was hosted by former Packers running-back Tony Fischer.

"Today kids think sitting in the house and playing video games is what real exercises and fun is. Real exercise is getting  out here playing in a field with a bunch of your friends and going through little obstacles whether or not you're playing football baseball basketball or soccer or whatever sport you get out and just get the heart rate up and have a little fun out here,” Tony Fisher, Former Packers RB said.

The youth camp is all part of the NFL's Play 60 campaign a nationwide effort to get kids out of the house and get at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
