One Arrested after Foot Chase in Brown Deer

On Tuesday, January 31 at 11:01 PM Brown Deer Police Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the 4600 block of W. Woodale Avenue. The caller told police that one person inside a car and two walking beside it appeared to have guns.

When officers arrived the vehicle took off leaving the two people walking behind who ran from police. Officers chased the suspects between houses and then received a call about an attempted robbery at the Petro Mart gas station. Neither suspect could gain entry since the gas station was closed.

Police set up a perimeter and found a 22-year-old Milwaukee man who is a convicted felon hiding behind a fence with a loaded handgun nearby.

Tracks in the snow connected the man to one of the suspects attempting to rob the World Petro Mart.

The other subject was not located and police believe they were picked up by someone in a car. The fleeing car is described as a 90s 2-door Pontiac Firebird covered in road salt.
