June is the month with the largest number of tornadoes in Wisconsin. With severe weather come power outages which can leave someone fumbling in the dark for flashlights and candles.
An entrepreneur from Oconomowoc is on a mission is to make sure people in homes and apartments have a safe, backup system. Some years ago, Chamy Lutz who’s originally from Taiwan had the bright idea for a light bulb that switches on when the power goes out. She calls her invention Safelumin.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger met the inventor blazing a new path for immigrant female entrepreneurs.
