Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Teddy
WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- There's a new truck to serve U.S. troops station in Wisconsin.
The USO Wisconsin Mobile Unit will provide wifi, protein snacks, cool drinks in the summer, hot chocolate in the winter, books, movies, toiletries, and more to those stationed at Fort McCoy.
"We can get out to places normally there wouldn't be these services. It's essential for their retention and their comfort to keep them connected to their families," said Elizabeth Hazlett, with USO of Wisconsin.
The mobile unit will be stationed at Fort McCoy in west-central Wisconsin. It will also travel to other areas across the state including the LaCrosse airport.
