Skate Milwaukee provides competition experience⛸️
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – People on Milwaukee’s south side now have an easier way to get the healthcare they need.
The 16th Street Community Health Centers opened a new clinic near 27th and Layton on Wednesday.
The center will provide medical, behavioral, and substance abuse services in both English and Spanish.
“They are really bringing healthcare literally to the neighborhoods of Milwaukee and that’s extremely important. Particularly when you look at the mental health challenges we face, the opioid challenges we face, this is timely to have this center open right now,” said Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
16th Street Community Health Centers also plans to build a clinic near 46th and Mitchell on Milwaukee’s west side this fall.
