MPD Investigating Police Impersonation Incident

Milwaukee Police is investigating a police impersonation incident that happened around 9:30 PM on Monday, February 13 in the 1800 block of W. Oklahoma Avenue. 

The suspects' vehicle had a red light and stopped the victim’s vehicle under the guise of a law enforcement traffic stop. One of the suspects asked for the victim’s driver’s license, concealed carry permit, and gun. 

The suspect returned the license and permit to the suspect but stole the gun and fled the scene.  

MPD is investigating the incident. There is no specific description of the suspects at this time.
