A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and killed Thursday night. According to the Milwaukee Police, the shooting occurred just after 10 PM in the area of N 74th and W Locust Streets.
Police say after he was shot the victim fled the scene in a vehicle, but it crashed a short time later at N 60th and W Townsend Streets.
The victim, later identified as Martez Grandberry, was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
The Milwaukee Police are investigating the incident attempting to determine a motive for the shooting and locate the suspect.
