UPDATE: Two men shot near 60th and Fairmount

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police say two people were shot near 60th and Fairmount on Wednesday.

The shooting happened around 4:50 p.m.

Authorities say the victims, a 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were shot after words were exchanged with the suspect. The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the two men as they ran away.

The victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are searching for a known suspect after an 18-year-old man was shot near 58th and Fairmount.

It happened around 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday.

The victim is being treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
