Milwaukee's Hayat Pharmacy offering free medications for people displaced by Harvey and Irma

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hayat Pharmacy in Milwaukee County is offering complimentary services to those in the area that have been displaced by hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

The pharmacy is offering complimentary chronic condition medications (blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, asthma, etc.) that cost Hayat $10 or less.

In addition, the pharmacy will assist in obtaining emergency prescriptions from local doctors if their primary doctors are not available, work with insurance providers to obtain early refills and seek out assistance programs for expensive medications.
