Milwaukee Woman to Appear on Project Runway

A Milwaukee mother and fashion designer will get a chance to prove herself on Project Runway.

"The reason why I wanted to do this show was two-fold a for the design and my business and pushing my business because this is a huge platform to put your business on and I just wanted to show women who are 50 and over it's not over you need to go for it, you need to try things,” said Linda Marcus.

Marcus started out as a handbag designer, and only recently began making clothes.

She said she's applied to be on the show several times.

After multiple interviews and phone calls, she got on for the 15th season.
