Milwaukee VA to hold registered nurse hiring fair

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Veterans Affairs Medical Center is holding a Registered Nurse Career Fair Wednesday, Jan. 29 to hire about 80 positions for all shifts and departments.

The event will take place from 1-6 p.m. in the Matousek Auditorium.

According to the VA, full-time salaries range from $60,568 to $105,521, plus a 13 percent shift and 25 percent weekend differential. RNs also receive 26 days annual leave, 13 sick days, paid holidays and a retirement and pension plan.

Positions are expected to be filled within 30 days of the career fair.
