Milwaukee Police: Squad car hit in police pursuit, five in custody

UPDATE: Five people are in custody after a police chase that involved a squad car getting hit in the process.
The arrested suspects are four 16-year-old boys and one 20-year-old man.
Milwaukee Police say a they began chasing a vehicle wanted in a shots fired investigation around 9:30 Thursday morning. The chase started near Erie and Water Streets in the Third Ward and ended in the 3600 block of West Center Street.
A squad car was hit during the pursuit but no officers were hurt. The investigation is ongoing.
