Milwaukee Police searching for man who robbed bank near 37th and Villard

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are asking the public for help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

It happened near 37th and VIllard around 11:34 a.m. on Monday.

Police say the suspect entered the bank, gave a note to the teller demanding money, and implied he had a weapon.

The suspect then fled the scene.

He is described a a black male, 40 to 45 years of age, with a medium-brown skin complexion, low cut hair, and light facial hair. 

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a light color on the upper back area and blue jeans. 

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
