MPD finds 1 dead in apparent stolen vehicle fire, believed to be homicide

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim found dead in a burning vehicle near 21st and Concordia as 56-year-old Janson Johnson.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say one person is dead after being found in a burning vehicle on Monday, July 6. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
The incident happened at around 9:52 p.m., near 21st and Concordia Avenue.
Police say they located the unidentified person dead in the car, which is reported stolen out of Milwaukee.
The circumstances leading up to the fire are under investigation.
Milwaukee police have not made any arrests as they search for suspect(s).
