Milwaukee man dead following crash near 27th and Capitol

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Sunday, Jan. 24.
According to police, witnesses described a vehicle driving at a high speeds near N. 27th St. and W. Capitol Dr. When the car attempted to pass another vehicle in the right lane, it lost control and hit a tree around 9:55 p.m.
The passenger, a 55-year-old Milwaukee man, died as a result of the crash.
The driver was arrested, and could be facing homicide charges for intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
