Brown Deer, WIS. (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after stealing a Brown Deer woman's car.
The carjacking happened Tuesday, shortly after 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the Pick 'n Save located at 9200 North Green Bay Road.
A 68-year-old woman was approached by the suspect who forcefully took her keys and fled southbound in the stolen vehicle.
An officer on patrol in the area observed the victim's vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect did not stop and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit continued into the City of Milwaukee.
The suspect who was the lone occupant of the vehicle stopped in the 8200 block of West Good Hope Road in Milwaukee and was taken into custody.
The suspect has been identified as an 18-year-old man from Milwaukee.
Charges are pending.
