Milwaukee Library Forgiveness Through October 9th

The Milwaukee Public Library is forgiving you if you forgot to return a book.

Anyone who's been blocked because of fine for long overdue materials is welcomed back this week.

Any cardholder can to to any of the 13 Milwaukee Public Library locations and ask for fine forgiveness, even if you don't have the materials that have been missing.

The last forgiveness campaign was back in 1998.

In one week, libraries received more than 12,000 items.

You have to act now for fine forgiveness.

The "Welcome Back" campaign ends October 9th.
