Michael Schlesinger meets some of the youngest members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra who represent a passing of the baton for the next generation of classical musicians.
Jon McCullough-Benner was principal bass for the Oregon Symphony Orchestra and is currently assistant principal bass with the Grant Park Music Festival Orchestra in Chicago. Catherine Chen joined the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra as Principal Bassoon in 2017, and Sonora Slocum has been with MSO since 2012 when she was appointed Principal Flute at the age of 22.
