Marquette University police investigate armed robbery on campus

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette University police are investigating an armed robbery that happened on campus on Wednesday, Oct. 13.

It happened near 18th and Wisconsin Ave. just after 1 a.m.

Police say two men in a gray SUV, possibly a Toyota Highlander, went up to two Marquette students in a white Honda Accord.

We're told the suspects got out of the SUV and showed a weapon, demanding items from the victims. One victim gave up her purse.

The suspects then demanded the victims get out of the car. That's when one of the suspects stole their Honda Accord.

Both suspects drove off heading north on 18th street.

No one was hurt in the incident.
