NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) – Marcus Theatres is reopening three southeastern Wisconsin theaters on Friday, June 19.
The theaters include Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant and BistroPlex Southridge in Greendale.
To start, Marcus Theatres will only be open four days a week: Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. Employees will be wearing masks and low contact options will be available for movie goers like buying tickets and ordering food online.

Guests will also be asked to socially distanced and use hand sanitizer.
Inside the theater, some seats will be marked off to keep distance in between people.
“I keep saying that we as a theater industry are going to play an integral part in changing some of the dynamics and really bring some positive enthusiasm into consumers’ minds,” Marcus Theatres CEO Rolando Rodriguez sad. “We’ve been dealing with such a difficult time period in our country.”
