Man Shot During Robbery in Milwaukee

Milwaukee Police report an early Saturday morning non-fatal shooting is being investigated. At 3:30 AM an 18-year-old man was walking in the area of 2200 W. Forest Home when a suspect approached him and tried to rob him.

A physical confrontation took place at which time the victim was shot. The suspect fled the scene and the victim took himself to the hospital.

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred at 1300 W. Atkinson at about 5:15 PM on Saturday

A 33-year-old man was walking past a group of people when a suspect vehicle pulled up and fired multiple gunshots at the group. The victim received a non-fatal gunshot injury from gunshots.

Milwaukee Fire Department treated the victim on scene, then took him to a local hospital.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
