Man Seriously Injured After Snowmobile Rollover Accident

DODGE COUNTY - According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, one man is seriously hurt following a snowmobile crash on Fox Lake near the Blackhawk Trail Boat Launching.
The snowmobile operator had just left the boat launch and a short time later, attempted a turn, and then lost control. This caused the snowmobile to roll over and the operator was ejected from the snowmobile. The operator was not wearing a helmet.
He has been identified as 31-year-old Cory Chase of Lodi. A friend on the scene witnessed the crash and immediately called 911. Chase sustained serious injuries and was taken by Flight for Life to UW Hospital.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.
