GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man killed in a crash following a police pursuit as 38-year-old Emanuel Woods.

GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Greenfield police are investigating a fatal crash that began as a pursuit early Tuesday morning. A 38-year-old man was killed in the incident.
According to police, an officer witnessed a vehicle traveling around 100 mph near S. 27th St. and W. Howard Ave. around 1:40 a.m.
The vehicle fled southbound on S. 27th St. and then turned eastbound on W. Layton Ave.
The officer terminated the pursuit due to the high rate of speed, but continued on Layton to do a safety check.
Police found that the fleeing driver had crashed near S. 13th St. and W. Layton Ave.
The driver, the sole occupant in the vehicle, died on scene.
Greenfield police released body camera video from the scene.
Milwaukee police are handling the investigation.
