The all day steady rain was a welcomed sight on Tuesday! The entire area saw a great rainfall with most of southeast Wisconsin picking up between .50-1" of rain.
The 0.82" of rain that fell in Milwaukee was our wettest day since March 23rd! We had 8.9" of snow that day which had a liquid equivalent of 0.83".
The 0.99" of rain over the last three days is more rain than we had all of May.
We'll have another chance for isolated showers and storms this evening into tonight as a cold front moves through the area. While the showers and storms will be extremely isolated, where they do pop could see a decent downpour.
After today, dry conditions return through the remainder of the extended period. Temps will be cooler today and tomorrow but will start to rebound into the mid 70s to low 80s by the weekend. Temps will be cooler lakeside everyday thanks to an onshore wind.
