MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As the school year begins and days grow shorter, experts say that fall is a key time to establish a wellness routine. With busier schedules, maintaining health becomes increasingly important to manage stress and prevent illness.
Garrett Van Auken of Life Time joined us to chat about these wellness strategies on Thursday, Sept. 12, including checking vitamin D levels and supplementing if necessary, adding immune-supporting foods to the diet and prioritizing protein intake.
He also recommended starting a strength training routine three days a week and ensuring adequate sleep.
