St. Camillus residents show patriotic spirit during annual parade
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After breaking ground this past June, local leaders and construction crew members gathered Wednesday morning to give an update on a live music venue coming to downtown Milwaukee.
It will be located right in the heart of Deer District, next to Fiserv Forum.
The FPC Live music venue hopes to host major entertainment acts that come to Milwaukee.
The nearly $70 million project will include a 4,500-capacity ballroom and all of the latest tech and amenities for fans and musical talent.
"As I've said before, we're very excited to make this investment in Milwaukee's future," said Joel Plant, CEO of Frank Productions. "We're taking a big bet on Milwaukee and we're confident in that bet."
"It's not just about the end use and the entertainment, it's also about the jobs and the opportunities that our residents in Milwaukee have when these things are built and constructed," Mayor Cavalier Johnson said.
No grand opening date has been set, but they expect to be open sometime late next year.
