Limited Pick-Up for Trash and Recycling in Milwaukee on Monday

The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works will have limited garbage and recycling collections on Monday, December 12 as DPW staff continue to clean up after this weekend’s snowfall.

DPW Sanitation crews will continue to work with the snow clean-up effort on Monday, but some garbage and recycling will be picked up. Residents who are scheduled for pick-up on Monday are encouraged to take their carts to the curb Sunday night and leave them there until it is picked up.

Residents with scheduled garbage collection Tuesday through Friday should plan to take their cart(s) to the curb the night before their scheduled day to ensure that crews working extended hours can access and collect their garbage.

DPW is asking that customers remain patient as crews work to catch up from the snowy weekend.
