Racine Zoo rounds out summer with concerts, car show and fundraising gala

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine Zoo Executive Director Beth Heidorn joined us Monday, July 27 to offer a peek at the slate of August events at the zoo.

The zoo's Animal Crackers concert series wraps up with two final shows, featuring Brass Queens on Aug. 5 and Grace Kelly on Aug. 19. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with shows starting at 7 p.m. The zoo is also the featured nonprofit for the Milwaukee Milkmen game Aug. 11 at Franklin Field, and will host a car, truck and bike show Aug. 16.

The month closes with the zoo debuting a new fundraising gala Aug. 22 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee.
