Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Auto experts say there are two great times to buy a car. At the end of the year for all the clearance sales and right now following the Greater Milwaukee Auto & Truck Show. The annual 9-day event just wrapped up on Sunday, and organizers say attendance is up 3.5%. On average, tens of thousands people typically walk through the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee checking out hundreds of new cars, crossovers, and trucks. In fact, this time, 500 exhibitors were on hand. And even though the convention center is cleared of vehicles now, auto show incentives continue for the next 5 to 10 days.
Those who run the auto show say 45% of the folks attending the event will buy a car within 9 months.
