MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A key piece of the Milwaukee Bucks 2021 NBA Championship has a new NBA home.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Brook Lopez signed with the Los Angeles Clippers. A California native, Lopez signs for two years and $18 million.

Lopez, 37, signed with the Bucks in 2018-19 as a free agent. Nicknamed Splash Mountain, Lopez turned into a Bonafide 3-point shooter with the Bucks and a feared rim protector.

His 826 3-pointers account for 76.8% of his career-made threes and is good enough for fourth all-time in franchise history.

He is second in the team's history in blocks, with 990 with the Bucks. His 2,060 career blocks are first among active players and 18th in NBA history.

Lopez made two All-Defense teams in Milwaukee and finished second for Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.

NBA free agency deals will become official on July 6.
