Kohl's Volunteers Pack 100,000 Pounds of Food for Hunger Task Force

More than 300 Kohl’s store associates helped sort meals for the Hunger Task Force.

Volunteers packed more than 100,000 pounds of food for the largest food sort.

Hunger Task Force members will deliver the food to more than 70 food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.

“We've got dinner protein, we've got breakfast so we're sorting it so when they deliver to the food pantries around Milwaukee it's much easier for them to give to the families that are in need."

More than 35,000 people receive food from local pantries each month, and nearly 60,000 meals are served at soup kitchens and shelters.
