Kilbourn Tunnel Closed Due to Gas Leak; Traffic Signals are Down

A gas leak is causing the Kilbourn Tunnel in downtown Milwaukee to be closed, according to Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Milwaukee Police and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is on the scene.
Due to a We Energies emergency, the traffic signals near N. 6th St. and W. Wells are not operating at this time.
DPW is placing four-way STOP signs at this intersection and others nearby (two block radius), and the Milwaukee Police Department is assisting with traffic control.
