Intoxicated West Bend Man Backs into Parked Squad Car

An intoxicated West Bend man backed his vehicle into a squad car on Saturday around midnight.

The incident occurred near the 100 block of North Main Street in West Bend.

According to West Bend Police, officers were sent to investigate a possible fight in the downtown.

While the Officers were speaking to witnesses, a 27 year old West Bend male, not related to the complaint, attempted to back his vehicle out of a parking stall.

The 27 year old male apparently did not see the marked squad with the emergency lights activated behind him, and struck the squad causing damage.

The male was determined to have been drinking alcohol and was arrested for 1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated.
