Police identify remains found in Lake Mattoon as 38-year-old Plainfield man

LAKE MATTOON, Ill. (CBS 58) -- Illinois State Police say the victim has been identified as 38-year-old Dalewayne Turner of Plainfield, Illinois.
Officials say there is no threat to the public.

LAKE MATTOON, Ill. (CBS 58) - Illinois State Police are seeking the public's help to match a Packers tattoo to the identity of a man whose remains were discovered in Lake Mattoon.
According to Illinois State investigators, boaters observed part of a human arm on the evening of Sunday, June 28, leading to an investigation.
The arm has distinct tattoos, including a Green Bay Packers helmet. Police are hoping the tattoos can lead them in the right direction to identify the man.
