Hit-and-run near 6th and Greenfield leaves 81-year-old seriously injured

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured Thursday, Oct. 15.
Officials say a driver was preparing to leave a store parking lot around 2:44 p.m. when they struck the 81-year-old victim near 6th and Greenfield.
Police say the driver left the scene before officers arrived.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
