Green Bay police dog leaves animal hospital after stabbing

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police in Green Bay say K-9 Pyro, who was stabbed several times by a suspect, was able to go home over the weekend. He had been recovering for nearly a week in an animal hospital. 

Pyro is still healing, so they say he will have to stay calm and take it easy. 

Officers say they're grateful for the community's support and they will continue to update everyone on Pyro's progress.
