RACINE (CBS58) -- The tech company Foxconn will be a reality in Racine County once Governor Scott Walker signs the deal Friday.
Fisk Johnson, Chairman and CEO of SC Johnson, will host Governor Scott Walker, Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou, and Speaker Paul Ryan Friday afternoon at SC Johnson in Racine to sign an agreement between the State of Wisconsin and Foxconn Technology Group, the world's largest electronics contract manufacturer.
"This will be the largest investment from a foreign based company in U.S. history as measured by jobs," Walker said.
The state will give Foxconn $3 billion in incentives if they follow through on some key promises. Foxconn has to create 13,000 jobs and invest $9 billion in the facility, which will be built in Mount Pleasant.
The goal is to get the full 13,000 jobs by 2023.
