Cooler with more rain chances

NOW: Cooler with more rain chances
NEXT:

While still gloomy around Milwaukee this morning, at least we are getting a break from the rain!

A rainy system still holds to our southwest and will bring multiple rounds of rain and even some storms through the weekend.  Our first round is expected today but holds off until later as a strong area of high pressure up to our north is in control of our weather.  This area of high pressure is also helping get rid of humidity and bringing an onshore wind keeping temps on the cooler side to finish this week.

We do see a small warmup by Saturday as a southerly wind makes its' return, but highs are only anticipated to get into the mid-70s.  A touch of humidity is possible by then, which could allow for a rain chance to turn to a thunderstorm, although it would not be expected to reach a severe level.

Rain chances for the weekend do begin Friday afternoon, continue Saturday, and behind a cold front, turn back to just a shower chance Monday.  Temperatures here cool back off into the upper 60s, with a cool and quiet start to Fall on Tuesday.
