Early voting begins in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Fight for $15 protest took place at a Milwaukee McDonald's.
It happened Wednesday afternoon at the location near 6th and Oklahoma.
Milwaukee was one of the ten cities across the county where a protest was held.
Demonstrators want a $15 an hour minimum wage and the right to unionize.
"We need union rights, we need higher pay, we need sick days, we need vacation days. McDonalds right now is not gonna fight us any longer, but at the same time they're not acting on giving us what we so justfully, righteously deserve," said Solo Littlejohn, a McDonald's worker.
McDonald's announced last week that it would stop lobbying against minimum wage increases.
