Fatal Crash in Pewaukee

UPDATE: 9:20 AM

On Monday, November 21, 2016, at 3:04 AM, squads from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and the Pewaukee Fire Department responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Capitol Drive west of Ishnala Trail in the City of Pewaukee. 

It was reported that a Ford Taurus traveling eastbound on Capitol Drive had left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. 

The driver of the vehicle, Brielle Beres, a 17-year-old female from the Town of Lisbon, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

A second 17-year-old female from Hartland and a 20-year-old male from Hartland were passengers in the vehicle. 

Both of them were transported to Summit Aurora Hospital by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.

Capitol Drive was closed for several hours while the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department conducted their investigation.

The Waukesha Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Villages of Hartland, Pewaukee and Chenequa Police Departments.

The crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.                                             

ORIGINAL: A serious traffic accident is under investigation in Pewaukee.  

The crash happened before 4 AM along Capitol Drive near Ishnala Trail.
