MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Several members of Governor Tony Evers' cabinet held an event in celebration of Women's History Month on Tuesday, March 24.
In a panel made up of all women, leaders sat beside one another and discussed key topics such as childcare and the economy.
One member praised the administration's investment toward progress and is proud of what her women colleagues have accomplished so far.
"There is a lot that the Evers' administration has accomplished to support women, I mean just by the sheer fact of this cabinet and seeing the women leaders he has supported is a testament to the real investment going into women in our state," said Leana Nakielski Mesdjian, deputy director with Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority (WHEDA).
This was the second in a series of Women's History Month panels held with the first happening earlier this month in Green Bay.
