E-Cig ordinance goes into effect in Greenfield

Greenfield's ban on E-Cigs is now in effect. The ordinance was passed last week due to what city officials call 'health risks.' But some business owners are not happy.

Faisal Faroqui, owner of Smoker's Xone says, \"It will affect a lot of businesses, they will lose a lot of customers.\"

But Greenfield Alderman Bruce Bailey paints a different picture. He says health officials put in the ban because of health concerns.

\"Tests have shown there are cancer causing chemicals in that E-Cig smoke, and heavy metal in that smoke.\"

Greenfield is one of the first Wisconsin communities to pass the ordinance, but says there will be a small grace period when it comes to tickets.

Greenfield isn't the first community to make changes, some towns in Illinois have also banned E-Cigs.
