MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Democrats are making their last efforts to get voters to choose Joe Biden as America's next leader.

“One more day! One more day!” said the former vice president to voters in Ohio on Monday, Nov. 2.

His message: it’s time for new leadership in the White House.

“Tomorrow we can put an end to a presidency that’s failed to protect this nation, and tomorrow we can put an end to a president that has fanned the flames of hate all across this country," said Biden.

Wisconsin State Director for the Biden Campaign Danielle Melfi calls this the biggest coordinated campaign the state has ever seen.

She says thousands of volunteers are constantly talking with voters.

“And we did that for longer than ever before, as folks were voting by mail in larger numbers in Wisconsin than we ever have, (we) did a huge push for in-person, early voting over the past two weeks," said Melfi.

Latino supporters say the Biden campaign has energized their community like never before.

“And I think there’s a real craving for honesty and decency, and for America to really stand for those things that we’ve always stood for, but have walked away from these last several years," Darryl Morin, vice chair of Todos con Biden, said.

And as election officials gear up for the heavy task ahead, Joe Biden believes American voters will be heard.

“I believe the message is going to be loud and clear," he said to voters. "It’s time for Donald Trump to pack his bags and go home. We’re done!”

The Biden campaign is hosting 'Get Out the Vote' events in Madison and in Milwaukee on Election Day.
