Cudahy man arrested for 4th OWI after speeding in Racine County

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Cudahy man has been arrested for his 4th OWI after being stopped by State Patrol early Thursday morning.

A trooper saw Eric White speeding while driving north on I-94 in Racine County. White was going so fast that it took the trooper several miles to catch up to him.

White stopped just north of the Racine/Milwaukee County line and immediately got out of his car ignoring commands from the trooper.

Additional deputies from Milwaukee and Racine Counties were dispatched and helped the trooper arrest both the driver and a passenger.

The trooper found an open bottle of alcohol on the floor of the car and after a failed Field Sobriety Test, White was arrested.
