WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In a collaboration between the School District of Waukesha and the Waukesha Downtown Business Association, the inaugural "Creativity Crawl" is set to take place. The event is designed to highlight the artistic and intellectual endeavors of local students, offering the public a chance to appreciate their talent.
Participating downtown businesses will be hosting an interactive showcase of student work on Wednesday, May 24 from 4 - 5:30 p.m. Pieces on display will range from poetry slams and research projects to photography and sculpture.
Following this, a closing ceremony and raffle drawing will be held at the Waukesha Public Library from 5:40 - 6 p.m.
Nancy Roncke of the Waukesha School District, Kari Kratochwill, a teacher at Waukesha East, and Katie Acker, also a teacher at Waukesha East, all joined us on Monday, May 15 to discuss the event.
