Community Health Fair offers FREE, FUN ways to keep your New Years Resolutions!

If you’re looking for ways to lose weight, check your blood pressure, getan eye exam, or enroll in affordable health insurance, join us Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Neighborhood House of Milwaukee for its annual Community Health Fair.
This year women 18 and older can get FREE clinical breast exams (Limited incentive gift cards & mammogram referrals provided). Heath insurance shoppers can get FREE Affordable Care Act Enrollment Assistance. Representatives from WIC (Women, Infant and Children), Positive Touch Therapy, Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin, Inc. AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, MCW Reach Out and Read Program, and other resources will be on hand to offer free advice, free screenings, give-aways, prizes, and more.
Last year more than 70 people attended the Fair, and over 30 vendors offered free vision checks, blood pressure checks, impaired driver testing, and handed out free healthy snacks, gifts, reading glasses and children’s books.
The Health Fair is offered in partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin Asian-Pacific American Medical Student Association.
