Cold blast late this week, warmer coming soon

We have had our lion’s share of cold temperatures so far this season considering November ended off almost five degrees below average. Our coldest day was last week hitting 26, and the next morning the low fell to 18, the coldest temp of the season. It will get colder by week’s end as an arctic blast grabs hold of the Midwest. Highs will fall into the low to mid 20s, with lows in the lower teens, even high single digits away from the lake.

If you’re not a snow lover, great news is on the way with minimal chances of snow for the short term. The weekend will feature sunshine and gradually warming temperatures. Temperatures with a warmer high will climb into the 40s by next week.
